Pitzer College tutoring programs support students through peer-to-peer tutoring on Pitzer's campus.

Tutoring programs at Pitzer College include recurring availability for Economics, Mathematics, and Psychology Statistics and Research Methods. Computer Science tutoring is typically available in the spring semester 

Tutoring for the sciences are available through the Department of Natural Sciences. 

The schedules below are assignments for tutoring sessions for the Spring 2025 semester. The details are subject to change, so please look to this web page and email announcements from our tutors regarding any changes. 

CS004 Computer Science Tutoring 
Open sessions are available on the following days and times for Spring 2025

  • Monday evenings, 7-9pm (Fletcher Hall 112)
  • Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm (Fletcher Hall 112)
  • Thursday evenings, 7-9pm (Fletcher Hall 112)
  • Saturday afternoons, 1-3pm (Avery Hall 202)

Mathematics Tutoring 
Open sessions are available on the following days and times for Spring 2025

  • Mondays: 6pm-8pm (Bernard Hall 101)
  • Tuesdays: 6pm-9pm (Bernard Hall 101)
  • Thursdays: 6pm-8pm (Bernard Hall 101)

Psychology Statistics and Research Methods 
Open sessions are available on the following days and times for Spring 2025

Economics tutoring is available upon request for those not currently enrolled in Pitzer College Economics courses. Following outreach to our tutoring coordinator with the course you are seeking support, communication with the faculty in our Economics field group will pair you with the tutor most capable of supporting your tutoring needs from the available team. Initiate outreach for support by contacting dofcore@2fitfashion.com

Science tutoring in biology, chemistry and physics through the Department of Natural Sciences can be inquired about by contacting carlos_alvarez@2fitfashion.com who will check-in with the according staff and faculty for the schedule.

Writing assistance for all courses is available at the Pitzer College Writing Center

Foreign language assistance is available at the Fletcher Jones Language and Culture Laboratory.
